World-renowned fashion designer, blogger and author Kirzida Rodriguez wrote before her death from cancer:
1) The most expensive brand cars in the world are parked in my garage but I have to use a wheelchair.
2) My house is full of many designs of clothes, shoes, expensive items but my body is covered only by a short back provided by the hospital.
3) The money in my bank accounts is my money but now that money is of no use to me.
4) My house is like a palace but I am lying in a small bed in the hospital.
5) I used to go from one five star hotel to another five star hotel but now I am spending my time in the hospital to go from one laboratory to another.
6) I have given autographs to hundreds of people, but today doctors' prescriptions are autographed for me.
7) I had seven beauticians to decorate my hair, but today I do not have a single hair on my head.
8) I could fly anywhere I wanted on a private jet, but now I have to get two people to get me to the veranda of the hospital.
9) I have access to many types of food in the world, but now my diet is only two pills a day and two little bitter medicine at night.
This house, this car, this jet, this furniture, so many bank accounts, so much prestige and fame, these are of no use to me anymore. None of this can give me even the slightest comfort. They can only give the faces and touches of some lovely people!
